Everything I do, i fuck up. But, somehow I'm good at making money....

so, i pay someone else who won't fuck it up for me

i'm the same way. i try to make enough so i can afford to have someone do it right the first time. it would cost more for me to try and do it, then have me fuck up and have to pay 2x as much.

i thought you were going to sell your house?

To me, paying a bill is completely alien to me. It was cold last week and I have no room in the garage or driveway, so I took the pathfinder to get an oil change and it's tires rotated. I felt like such a tool signing off on a $50 bill.

And the frame on the pathfinder bent on the lift to boot. I can't take it above 45 mph.

I just go see bill on a saturday for tire mounting, rotation, and oil changes

my STi had all that free with the car.
the BMW still has 5k miles to go before i do its first oil change

Gotta love 10k oil

Its not new is it? I thought all BMWs had that service plan. AND WHAT THE FUCKING HELL!!? B i KNOW you are smarter than to believe that oil is good for 10k miles....seriously thats like washing your car with the same bucket of water for 6 months. Jesus.

i have no service plan with the bimmer. its used.

Oil is monitored by the onboard computer. It tells me when its time to change it based on my driving style, and the sensors in the system.

Oil Changes every 7000-15000 miles (depending on your driving style):
7 quarts of 10W-60 at $8 to $11/quart + filter

for painting too. I couldn't get Mexicans (no offense) in here for that price.... and i'd probably loose my tv in the process

... that's the first time you've felt that? I figured that'd be a common occurance.

And I agree with B, everything he touches, he fucks up.

no, seriously, i tried.

I went down to the labor ready thing (the work today/paid today, hang out and wait for a job thing downtown) and asked how much it would cost me to get a couple painters. they wanted 300/day per person. that's like $40/hr.

All the painters there were Mexican. I was there, saw them, ready to paint.

Unfortuntally, the shop probably takes a huge cut and they make like $10/hr.

my best friends wife is a manager at labor ready. she tells me how huge the profits are to. it's like being a mechanic at a shop. the shop charges $80/hr and pays the mechanic $18.

you could always just go down to lowes or home depot. i always see mexicans waiting there for work.

Mechanic shops make nothing. Believe me. Even with the huge gap between costs and charges.
