I never thought I would either, but Im pretty into it. Dubstep mostly. I think the mass amounts of bass just does something to your brain. Haha I went to Electric Forest up in Rothbury Michigan with like 10 friends for the long 4th of July weekend. Check out the performers that were there. Probably one of if not the best times of my life.

A few DJs Im into. Listen in 720p for sure!

The obvious choice; Skrillex/Sonny Moore (from From First To Last) He spans many genres in his albums.

Listen to a lot of his songs on YouTube. Hes pretty sick. Some of my favorites are "Kill Everybody" (barenoize version) "Reptile" "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" "In for the Kill:

Excision. (Sounds like Transformers fucking) Piece of advice, do NOT see this guy live when under the influence of strong hallucinogens. Bad news bears!

Flux Pavillion- Just pretty awesome. Less hectic and crazy. The "easy listening" of Dubstep/electronica. See also "Cracks" and "Gold Dust."

Oh and how could I forget Bassnectar! The DJ that first got me into all of this stuff.

Dubstep for sure. I didn't think I'd listen to it either, but it's got me too.

The music might sound like rap/hip hop at first, but there's no vocal track. I think that's what appeals to me.

My favorite right now: Ronald Jenkees! Got his start on Youtube. I'll link some stuff when I get home.

my woman is going to the Outlands Festival in SF.. Deadmau5 will be there

I don't like much dubstep, I'm more into Trance and Progressive, but also like Hardstyle and Tech Dance.

Here's some of my current favorite tracks..

Ashley Wallbridge - ID (Title hasn't been released yet)

Denver has quite a good electronic music scene, so we pretty decent events all the time, plus we have one of the best if not the best club in the US in Beta Nightclub. The Funktion One sound system there is amazing!

Deadmau5 - Strobe. Best nightime driving music. Ever.

Deadmau5 is fairly good, I prefer some of the older stuff, vocal trance, and lately - Dubstep. My current favorite is Doctor P.

Chasing Shadows is one of my new favorites. "Red" is pretty sick, as well as this one -

This song is fucking epic. Modestep FTW

If you're in to Drum n Bass, I suggest checking out Pendulum. I've been hooked on them for a year or so. Epic.

Skrillex is the shit. Catrats <3. deadmau5 is ok.

Le Castle Vania. Was drawn in by the name, good stuff turns out. Check out his webpage for some free music. I recomend bulletproof tiger mixtape II. Pretty good after minute 10 or so, some really hard tracks on there.

Like the actual song and the remix even more.

got back from tally so my bad for the delay.

jamming to the skrillex (scary movie).

Thanks for all the suggestions since i'm wayyy noobish for this kind of music. for a while I was starting to get bored with alot of the stuff I found.

having some bass really helps too :p

by the way, in case some of you don't know how I've been converting the youtube songs to my ipod using flvto.com. it's free and fast. :)

Yea Skrillex is the shit! A lot of people hate on him just because many of his fans are bandwaggon jumpers. But a lot of people hated on him when he was the From First To Last frontman for the same reason. Ive always enjoyed his music though, so idk what the big deal is. :shrug2:

I first heard FP in a youtube video for some club out in Europe that had a sick ass music respondant LED system that covered al its walls and ceiling. Been seeking them out since.

Heres another random song some may enjoy. Its pretty weird but I loved it live at Electric Forest.

Yeah I've always liked EDM but wouldn't listen to it very muc, just mainly listed to metal and thing like that. Now that its gotten really big, that's pretty much the only thing I listen to. But I noticed that Skrillex is a good way to start listening to dub step. His music is alot different than most dub step that's is out there which is what I love about him. Im planning to go see him performing with nero halloween night out here in colorado

that will be badass. I do like the his style although after a ew tracks I have to mix it up a little.
too much transformer sounds.

EG6sir: get some video :) sounds like fun.
