6.9 mil?

Pay off everything. Stick 1 million in a roth IRA and forget about it. Move to northern california, buy a chunk of mountainous property and build a good sized home. And with that much cash.. probably a ferrari 360 modena. hell, make it a challenge stradelle for spirited drives.

After that.. invest whatever is left over and retire my ass at the age of 27.

When I hit 60.. I'd have over 100 million dollars in the bank via that 1 mil and compound interest.

Then, I'd go apeshit.

*edit* actually, I'd only have 50 million at 12% (realistic numbers) But I could still go apeshit.

I believe you can buy an island in the bahamas for 1.5-2mil. Then make nice spread for yourself something like the dude from Virgin empire.

I would buy my own island and populate it with 1 million Furbes who would name me their emperor.

Unfortunately they would overthrow me in a military coup 5 years later and I would be executed...

FUCK! I can't even get my fantasies right today

Replace "I" with "everyone I know(that I like)" and "country" with "tropical island" and that sounds about right.

going under doesn't mean they aren't going up or even staying flat.

buying a stock that drops or stays flat is the worst investment to make.

not only do you not make any money on it, you get taxed on it when you pull out. in the end, you loose money.

Buy a house on a lake up here, a wakeboard boat, and a mall crawler to pull the said boat with. Leave a handful for fun money and Invest the rest.

I'd take $3mil and put it in a high interest savings account to live off of. At, lets say 5%, that's roughly $150k per year.

Take $500k and buy a nice house in a warm climate.

Take another $500k and buy some nice cars.

Pay off all of my family's debts and set up college funds for my sisters.

Finally, I would just invest the rest.
