do people not fucking learn?
just like new orleans, these people were told to evacuate because of the fire in LA, but are refusing to leave, would rather be rescued than avoid putting an extra burden on the people trying to save their houses.

i say leave them there, and let them burn.

"One of the most visible holdout episodes in the fire occurred Saturday when two men ignored an evacuation order and remained in the Tujunga home they were staying in. As they were hosing down the roof, flames erupted. The men, whose names have not been released, jumped off the roof into a hot tub and remained there several hours.
The water offered scant protection. The men, aged 53 and 40, sustained second and third-degree burns on their faces, arms and legs from the fire and had to be rescued one at a time by a medivac helicopter after a regular helicopter could not get to the home because of the flames. They were in stable condition Tuesday.
"It was an extraordinarily difficult rescue," said Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore. "It took about 45 minutes and put everybody's lives at risk. If there is a mandatory evacuation order, it means you are in danger right now and get out."

People like this should be left to die.

so now 1 of 2 things will happen.

1) they dont' move out, get burned and blame the government for not helping them. they sue the government and win money. (we all lose)

or

2) they get forced out. cry about too much government control and communism. the hippy liberals sue the government and they get money. (we lose)

send in the marines, kill the hippies, give 40 acres to kanye west, common, and any other african american who feels they are still owed reparations.

They never are, but for whatever reason all of these idiots seem to think that spraying there fucking shingles with a garden hose is going to stop their sweet pad from burning down. And for some reason they think that they can pack up and leave when their neighbors house is on fire, no sooner.
