lol goodluck man, things seem to be coming along nicely, you may have debt but at least you have things you can call your own, which is alot more than I or many others can say.

I got everything I want, and a little more than one person actually needs...plus I have a huge shopping list of things I want, to go with all the crap I have....

But I don't have a kid...

Ohh well, at least I have a wife that loves the hell out of me...and she's going crazy that I haven't been home for almost 2 months... And the coolest dog in the world.

Funny how all the bills can be paid at such a rate when I'm gone for two months, and not buying parts or other crap... well..except that camera..hehe

If people wait for the right time to have kids, they will never have kids.

Same thing for marriage. I've been waiting for the right time - and that right time will never happen.

i know how important it is to pay off debt, but make sure your priority is bad debt, which you don't have. make sure you keep a healthy stash in your savings. from your previous posts, i know you already have a good retirement.

now lets have hs give us another hybrid baby.

I'm on the same track now, paying off debt for the re-fi. my debt is much less than yours, but I only made 55k last year (looking at 65k this year). I have a kid, and let me tell you there is nothing better in the world, but with every blessing comes a burden (as the saying goes). Most of the time you spend on hobbies will disapear when there is a child in the picture. Also between having a kid, and sitting at a computer for a living I've put on a lot of weight. By the time I get done with daily responsibilities I get an hour a day 9pm - 10pm to myself all I want to do at that point is sit, relax and turn the brain off.

sadly, I'm not working as hard as I used to, and I'm making more money. I'm digging this road trip, teaching new mechanics how to work on helicopters and other BS. I got one kid that had absolutely no idea about how to turn a wrench, and got him to where he's confident enough to do actual installs...only took me a week...

And I can't wait to see the paycheck tomorrow night... Mid March, and I already earned about $29K's It should have been 30+K's, but I was sick for 3 days at the first of the year... But I'm on a good head start to break the goal I made for myself to make over $100K's this year. Which is literally unheard of for a mechanic. But the guys I work with, they make about $125K's...so I know it can be done... One inspector made $190K's last year...before September...he ate up as much overtime that he could....

Sikorsky does not care about your experience.

Let me repeat that: THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The ONLY thing that matters to Sikorsky is that you get referred by a current, popular and well liked employee.
