CLIFFNOTES: Going down to Rowan Saturday for a friends going away party and have a feeling it's going to be a drama filled evening with a girl and a possible fight with some asshole. That last part is unrelated to the gut feeling and the story though.

So last night I get a random text from a girl I haven't seen or spoken to since about February. I had been talking to and hanging out with this girl since about October. Because of my job and her still being in college, hanging out was sporadic at best. Anyway, then she got a bf in December or January. Still talked, still hung out.

February I go down there one night to go out to the bar with friends. Bump into her and to make a long story short, we hooked up. Glad I found out she was a cheater without being cheated on myself and attempted to continue that situation.

Well about a week or two later she drops off the face of the earth. No response to my calls, texts, online messages, etc. Even deletes her Facebook account. My friends from down there haven't seen her around. I assume she felt bad for cheating on her bf and figured she would separate herself from me and my friends. Fine, I go about my life.

Then the random text last night. Just general bullshitting back and forth and then I ask why she stopped talking to me. Doesn't really answer the question but I find out she went through some bad shit she doesn't want to talk about. I may be being a narcissist and it may have nothing to do with me, but I just have that feeling in my gut.

I'm half expecting to go down there and she's got a beach ball under her dress with my name on it. I'll be down there on Saturday for an unrelated matter, but I'll probably hang out with her too. IDK, just wanted to see what you guys take from this and/or share your experiences.

I think I addressed this issue on here but a quick recap and an update. Beginning of the month I was for lack of a better word, attacked by 2 guys after the bar down at school. As my friends put it when they ran up to help, it looked like I was winning but they still grabbed one of the guys. I had no idea why it happened other than that these guys were in another fraternity that doesn't get along with mine. Find out later the one was hooking up with my ex who I had hung out with earlier in the week. Guess he didn't like that. He's a douche and the ex isn't hooking up with him anymore.

Then I thought it was over. this weekend I'm in Sea Isle. Out having a good time and I get a text,
Them-"Did you get a new number?"
Me-"No, why?"
Them-"Someone has been texting people saying it's you with a new number and is being a dick"
Me-"Fun. If you find out who, let me know."

I figure it's one of my friends. Nope. It's this kid again. What does he want with me? As gay as it is I sent him a message on Facebook(Don't have his number or any other way to contact him). "I guess you didn't learn your lesson last time, so let me be clear... Keep my name out of your mouth. I'll be at Landmark on Saturday if you want to discuss it any further."

So I may have to deal with that this weekend too.

And before anyone says it, I know I have a real problem with being disrespected. I just don't think I would ever continue starting shit with someone who knock me unconscious.

There is going to be a large group of us down there, unlike last time, so I don't think this will become an issue.

I realize I kind of asked for trouble but I don't think it will happen. Saturday is a going away party for one of my friends. There will be 20+ guys at the bar with me. Even if he is there with "back-up", stand offs between the 2 fraternities generally leads to them backing down. As a whole, they are a bunch of pussies. They never fight one on one. They will always try to jump you. I'm not worried about it. I simply want my name to stay out of his fucking mouth unless he is saying, "Don't mess with Steve man, he kicked my ass in August and Jay's ass last May."

That's the sad part. I'm MUCH better than I use to be. The decrease in alcohol consumption has helped, as well as not being in as many hostile situations overall.

I need a job, some hobbies, and a woman.

Not following you on the first part, but I've actually been reading some of my favorite objective material almost since my last post. I need to take my own advice. I randomly said it one day at work when someone asked me how I make so much money and deal with customers. I kind of impressed myself with how it fit my life as well.

"It's a careful combination of making sure that all your work is being done with quality, smiling and being generally, but not overly nice, and all the while know in the back of your head that you don't really give a fuck or care what people think."

I need to reapply myself, get my shit done well, and stop caring what douchebags think or say. Be confident in my skills and who I am.

On that note, I'm going to bed. Tomorrow is a new day.
