Where did you get 8k from? I thought it was 7200rpm like the US 92-96 H22a Preludes...
Well, anyways, if anyone wants to buy a H22a TCU(p19), I have one for sell. Just ask me.
The USDM belt should fit because I got my timing belt replaced with the USDM belt with no problem/whining noise (from what I know). Anyways, explain your whining noise after startup? If possible, provide a video?
Is that tcu a OBD 2 or 1? It's make for the H22a right? Also can you answer those questions I asked "djfaded1" on 1-8-07 but he never replied back? Thanks.
Hey tab, if you're still around here, what's your redline w/ the Accord tcu? Still 6300rpm right? And what's the correct redline for the 95 Prelude H22a auto anyways?
Hey djfaded1, does your P19 redline at 7200rpm? And what were the shift points as in what mph does it shift into 1st,2nd, etc..in normal driving(not manually shift)?
What kind of hesitation are you talking about? More detail? I don't think it would matter which tcu you are using. Both should work fine but the only difference in them will be the shift points and RPM Redline.
Hey mulepick, when getting a h22a w/ auto tranny, make sure you get a TCU as well if you want your motor to shift/redline correctly. Staying with the f22a TCU is fine as well but it will not give your h22a motor the full power you redline it. About my motor, I still need to take it to the shop...
I guess my Accord TCU is mess up or something then, because I can't get out of "P" even with it. What do you think?
Anyways, that guy on the other forum has helped me out with the problem of can't get out of "P". What I have to do was jump two wires together and it work. It worked with my...
Hey tab,
You have a Accord auto tcu with your JDM H22a auto tranny right? If yes, can you get out of "park" with that Accord tcu? Just wondering because I don't remember if you can or not and I just happened to put my Accord tcu back in and I still can't get out of "P"! Just thought...
