i have an obd1 b16 in my 97 ek hatch. i did the swap a couple years ago and it never did idle right and i had to sometimes reset the ecu. but here lately ive come into a huge problem. the engine wont rev over 3k and when i do hit the throttle it really dies out and then i let off and it jumps to 3k before comin back down. but if i hold the throttle wide open it revs to 3k and bogs way out and will start to backfire. i have checked the entire fuel system and even put a new distributor on the car...
