forgot to say is runnin on stock vti ecu and exhaust need help!

hi, i hav an eg9 with a b16b just put in, the engine check lite is on but i tink its because of the map sensor. any ideas?, also wen i start it up it sits at 1000rpm for bou 20secs and den the check lite comes on and it jumps to 2000rpm? thanks
