im not shore if you no this but a battery has a maximum voltage of 12.6 volts, regardless of how much capacity it has (CCA). When the engine is running the the voltage goes up to 13.8-14.2 this is because of the alternator. the more load you put on the system the harder your alternator works...

maybe something touched a peice of grounded metal while the work was happening.

i am not a big fan of in car dvds, to me theyre point less how can you watch a tv when youre driving? a big stereo on the other hand is very usefull, you can play youre music so loud the car next to you will start rocking. if youre using the dvd to impres girl/boys with youre wealth wouldnt it...
