This is old but I think it's a bit off on the topic of turbo vs n/a cams. Its all about overlap for n/a performance, but that doesn't fly with turbos. That results in poor boost response and is why ppl are blowing 30 psi through using itr/ctr cams. The cams bleed off so much cylinder pressure...

dohc zc imho. lightass crx+ jdm dohc d series = badass

swap the b16 in. Then if you can down teh road, get a turbo kit for that, and run a low pressure system. people make lots of fun power with boosted b's... and the swap is the right price! in the meantime, have fun killing almost everything cuz ef swaps are always faster than eg swaps... and...

b16's can be way fun... And a GSR bottom end is only going to get you a few lbft... If you want to feel a difference look into transmissions. What are you using now? A b16 on a long tranny is lame... but so is a gsr. The smart money is on a tranny. Gaining 15 hp and a few pounds of torque...

What is this? a 2001 d17a1 sohc non vtec head? made 115hp and 110 lb ft of torque on a 1.7 liter motor? I've never heard of it! Will a head from this motor fit on a d15?

well most are 27C128, 27C256, or 27C512 chips, and some are 27SF51 heck some are even 7fHC373N, but arent they just a logic chip? I want to know what chips i can burn bins to. Arent they 28 pin chips?
