I do have a civic. Its a 1990 Civic Std. Hatch. Over the last summer I took on an F22a1 swap out of an accord. I did everything myself too, not to brag. Wiring, mounts, axles, beating out the frame. I do know a bit about cars and I'm almost sure I'm the first person to do this swap.;)...

hmmm, somebody told me that. If I did that, I could probly build a completely new F22 setup with everything built. I was going to do that before but I didn't have the time or money. F22a1's go for like 150 bucks no transmission.

Knife edge the crank. Less rotating mass is better for an engine, it puts less load on bearings and such with less rotating mass. This will not lower the life of your engine at all. As long as you get the crank balanced afterwards. Any one with a computerized crank balancer can balance a crank...
