actually i run 98-100 octane in it already. 93 and octane boost (non-methanol) at every fill up.

I finally finished the swap. Worked out all the little bugs and fixed all the little things we happened to leave loose and looked over somehow. I do have a question though, the motor seems to be idling a little rough and sometimes feels as if its missing when vtec is almost ready to kick in...

my advice, find a junk yard somewhere near you and look for a 99-00 civic si that has been absolutely totaled. The single plug you need to re-wire your harness should still be intact. Most places will try to make you buy the entire harness, so dont tell them exactly what you're lookin for...
