alrite ill proly go with the p72 then u think id lose much hp without the secondary butterflies, considering te aftermarket intake is better than the stock one?

I swapped a b18c jdm in my civic but i put an aftermarket bbk single stage intake manifold on the motor im thinkin of gettin a p72 but im not sure that it would help due to the fact that the aftermarket intake manifold may not have secondary butterflies whicha p72 would initiate at 5800 rpm...

alrite thats what a i thought when i had the swap done they were supposed to put in a p72 but they put a new p2t in it, i should get them to change it.

its a jdm b18c so the 180hp one because right now my vtec is 6000 and i beleive that the p72 vtec curve hits at 4500?

I have a swapped b18c assuming its jdm because i do not beleive usdm makes a motor stamped "b18c" i have it in 2000 SI but it has a cherry red valve cover but instead of having a honda symbol below the dohc vtec label it just reads honda motors inc. Im just curious to why this valve...

im running a p2t ecu with my 2000 SiR but have a b18c jdm engine if i swapped for a p72 ecu would it increase my cars performance seeing how that ecu matchse up with the engine? :ph34r:

I have a b18c jdm engine in my 2000Sir civic and im wondering what rpm the vtec is supposed to kick in for this model, becuase i beleive im usinga SiR ecu and its kicking in at around 6000rpm. Just curious to see what rpm its supposed to kick in at.
