well im eventualy going to do my cb7 candy blu w. flat black trim so it works out. when i get the other cover on im doing the letters flat black as well as my grill and some of the trim. my step dad painted houses for year so i have all the equipment i need and bought some high temp. flat black. so with that i am going to re-paint the old cover flat black and sale it infact i already have it sold so that will make up for the cost to have it sent here from my homies house in cali.nothing half assed here i just know alot of people and wait for the "come up" oppertunity to arise...

See, learn some thing everyday. I didn't know. Plus, since you'll have the original cover, you could even paint that one the way you want since you can have it off as long as you want.

i got a new vale cover comin in that my friend is mailing to me, he had no use for it and its nice and powdercoated candy blue so i figure why not slap it on and when i do that im doing new plugs, so might aswell drain the oil and check it out, im only like 900 miles short of an oil change anyway...

according to some to a forum in cb7 tuner its not really an hp gain although some people claim 1-2 hp on it dynod but it keeps the oil from foaming after 6.5k rpms so when you do mods to hike up the rpm it help sustain temps or something like that. but others swear buy it and say if ur doin f22a1 to a6 its a must for later transitions and mods....im looking at the manual and it shows the same exact trip but like you said there mey be bolts and if so i got to find out if you need to make the wholes to screw it in the lx....

Yeah, you have to post, I think, 30 times in the beginner section before you can move to the regular sections. I'm not sure I'm even past that, haha. It's cool man. It's good to have a clean hobby you like, and you have to ask questions to learn.
Yeah, I think It was decided that all his treads would become a place for general chit chat until he decides he can actually use the help everyone tries to give him.
Third, I'm not really sure how you take that tray out. I'd assume its only held on by a few bolts above or inside (how ever you want to look at it) your oil pan. I don't have a book on me at the moment. I'm curious as to why you are changing it. Is there a difference in that as well between trims? Let me know.

There wasn't anything there that was advertised, but it was still cool, sort of a long story (Chris Rado and his tC do not count). Look at your local track/s events and just go check them out. Maybe it is just a HPDE or other school, club, etc. Or, check out the N.A.S.A. or S.C.C.A web pages and look for autox or club rally that might be in your area. The people that show up for these events seem to be than willing to talk with you about anything you have a questions about. Shit I was just walking around in the garages yesterday talking with drivers, looking in their cars etc, as long as you are polite no one seems to mind. Also, I'm sure there are people from CB7tuner that might meet in your area. I have been a member there for awhile but I don't get on that site much other than to look things up. My home has a lame scene too, just gotta make it what you can.

hey thats cool, how do i found out about stuff like that in my area, i live in this lil hick town outside of houston, im trying to find like a honda crew or something i can try to hang out with, u know, the more u suround your self in the scene the more you learn and all that... dont know much about street racing, like to keep it legal anyway but maybe learning about it will help me, like knowing if there signals like bikers do and all that when they pass by each other....
