Word!! i think the only ppl that could truly understand, would be crack addicts! I honestly think a drug addiction would be cheaper than a car addiction! and the thrill of the ride is hands down better than ANY THING! Especially when racing exotics cars and v8 dueche bags!

Cool, cool!! I'd love to start another small project keep me posted! You have me jonesing now, I think this is why old guys sell there cars after they finish one, so they can start all over again....

Ha i know what you mean! Your doing the side build for some one else i take it? I've seen soooo many kids roll through the shop with these ebay kits that come with these knock off bov's and waste gates. after just a few months they'll have globs of weld on there manifolds from excessive cracking. keep me posted on that one. My buddy had a 1jz build with a shitty waste gate that stuck open on the track, i think he ran a 17 something lol....Tial brotha that's the high quality shiz! i have a turbo xs rfl blow off, there not the highest quality, but damn that thing is sooooo loud!

Warranty's is the big thing like i said if it's cheaper and has the lifetime warranty then it's a bargain, but if not your stuck with a cracked manifold "if it cracks and most of them tend to especially ebya" and have to buy a new one or fix the old. I don't want to see any one waste money the way i did.

Ha i did the same thing, alright if i get some free time i'll read through it. I paid $450.00 for mine, i think i over paid for the cam gears i spent $125 a piece for them so altogether i spent $700. for parts, i also got the aluminum cam seals there better than the oem plastic ones.

lol...After the oem distributor failed on me i wasnt going to waste the money on another, the only thing msd that i had a problem with was the ignition box after i hooked up the blaster coil. After the box came out, No problems. My manifold is made by some company called image it's a cheap parts place that my shop goes through. My manifold was the biggest waste of money $500+ i've cracked two and it's been a big Headache! A new one from peakboost "life time warranty" is like 1100. so i had a support bracket made and had more material "weld" put over all the welds on the manifold i have now. Holding up so far!

oh swapping the distributors wasnt too hard, just wiring the coil, and checking timing after the install not to bad. the acceleration seemed to smooth out ALOT too after the crower cams and the distributor were put in, SEAMLESS! If you got extra time can you put together an updated condensed parts list for your build, that thread of yours is 13pages long!
