That is AWESOME! I'm working on two different projects at the same time myself. Woo, it's fun and at the same time confusing as hell. haha Best of luck to you on everything.

I will be real happy when i get her on the road. One of Byron's friends is trading me straight up shell for shell. I am obviously keeping my motor, but i am also keeping my seats and maybe a few nick-nacks here and there.

Ouch! That really sucks. I'm guessing the Del Sol is headed for the junkyard then? I got lucky with both my EG sedan and my EK hatch. Hell, I got a SWEET deal on my hatch, which I just got this year. At least you're happy with your REX now, which really counts. It's nice that you FINALLY have a nice car to drive. I'm sure you'll be very happy with it.

Yeah i am excited about the swap because i will for once have a decent looking car.. When i bought my Del Sol in February it didn't look too bad, It looked like it needed a good sand down and maybe new front fenders cause they were crappy fiberglass ones,.. but after i drove it in the snow a few times my sideskirts fell off and the rust was unbelieveable. I don't think i gave the car more than a 5 minute test drive and i gave the kid 2,200 dollars cause i wanted a Del Sol that bad. I learned my lesson.

The Z6 swap is going to be a lot of fun after you are done with it. When I FINALLY swapped in my Z6 last year into my EG sedan, it almost felt like I was driving a Ferrari. haha Sad but true. It's a shame about your Del Sol. Is the rust really that bad that it is not worth fixing?

All we are doing with the motor at the moment is a Z6 swap. My Del Sol is a rust bucket so i am switching shells.. I am honestly sad as can be because i have wanted a Del Sol for longer than i can remember but i bought a bad one. Maybe once i fix the CRX up all nice and pretty i will sell it and start out a new search for a Del Sol in better condition.

Awesome! Are there any plans to do wonderful things to the engine, suspension...etc. etc.?

The CRX is black. We're still working on the body. I just bought a new drivers side door and the rear fender needs sanded down a bit, i need a new hood and windshield.. After that a new paint job and she will be set!

What color is your REX? Having a REX would complete my happy, Honda family.
