serious smoke from exhaust after turbo install

Every turbo honda I've seen blows excess carbon out under a load. Normally letting off the gas. that's normal with turbo set ups because they run a little rich so when they are under "boost" they have the fuel needed to whip some talon booty. But you should have everything in the kit installed...

    questions on Pinouts

I believe the ecu plug in's are the same. You might have other trouble.. I've done alot of SOHC 92-95 swaps and never had to run any different wiring other than VTEC wires. I do not believe that's the source of your trouble. I know it sounds dumb but make sure it's getting fuel and spark. I...

wiring a gsr ecu into a 91 integra ls

I think you only need to wire VTEC. so there's only three wires. It's in the reference section for the pin outs. Make sure the head is an obd0 one. The intake manifolds are different and I think the distributors are too Rob

    b16 error codes

Did you have to switch any wire on your harness for that swap? I'm thinking that you have not have one or two wires properly hooked up on the intake manifold. I had similar problems doing my first zc swap. After getting those hooked up it was good ta go. I'll do some checking if I get a chance...

    How can I pull codes?

have you put new brakes on this car? It may just need that. Check those and if they have more than half pad left on them then let me know. I believe you have to ground a wire on that model and the check engine light will blink indicating your "trouble code". I'll check tomorrow on my integra Rob

    tempermental start

Kinda sounds like an ignition switch may be going out. I must admit, I've never heard of a manual fuel pump turn on. You may just need a new one. You need to check to see if you are getting the proper fuel pressure to the fuel rail. Is the fuel system an ECU stock? Rob

    engine harness

Call Hasport. I believe you have to extend 2 or 3 wires. It's not a big deal..The hardest part is when the motor is in the car Rob

    rediculas question

make sure to have the flywheel surfaced at a GOOD machine shop. Honda flywheels have to have equal surfaces for the contact on the pressure plate. Definately put a pilot bearing in there while it's out Rob

    90 b18 OBD 0 VS 93 B18 OBD 1

I think if it is possible you need not motor harness off the obd1 motor or any b series obd1 motor. I think they have diff crank positioning sensors also Call Hasport. email me if you need the number. I have a 93 cx with a b18b in it so let me know if you need help Rob

swap into a 1992 teg (for best power to weight rat

92-93 integra gsr came with a b17a (the gran daddy VTEC motor) that means you know that chassis had that motor in it wich is good. You won't need different mounts or axles. Go to WWW.hmotorsonline (I believe that is it, let me know if it doesn't work) and get a B16A1 setup with trans ECU and...

    swaps?

ok man, this is SIMPLE the early intgra "zc" d16 motors DO NOT work in your car. I do beleive this is what you have unfortunately. I have a very nice running D16a8 ZC motor in a 91 civic hb and it pulls high14's with very minor additions. It's a very cheap and reliable swap. Most people...

    zc swap

I replace the thermostat, timing belt, and bi-passed the coolant lines that go in the intake manifold. When the motors sit in the junk yards it is comon to devolope pin holes in these lines. The timing belt I took out of the motor was good but it is recomended to change it. I've got a screaming...

    no spark

What year did the motor com from? I'm thinking you may need to switch some wires on the intake manifold if that is an OBD-0 motor, if it's newer than you might have somewhat of a wiring disaster at hand Rob Primetimeimports
