    I am using the goldeneagle ls/vtec conversion kit and all the parts I have are compatable. The only thing I can figure is for some reason the compression rings on the pistons seated alright, but the oil rings are not seating at all. I am about to pull it back out of the car and pull it back...

    I just built an ls/vtec for my 94 ex coupe and all runs great except the fast the I burn a quart of oil every 15 miles.     90 Prelude Swap

    The B21 is inferior to the B20 because it is not near as reliable. Also, it only has 8 more ft. lbs. of torque and 5 more horsepower. You are not going to notice that little bit of increase. The JDM B20 is your best bet. It is not that expensive and it has more power.

    What Engine Is In An 88 Perlude Si?

    I do not believe there is a such thing as a B20A4. An 88 Si has the B20A5 which is rated at 135 hp and 127 ft. lbs. of torque. The plain S model has a B20A3 which is carburated and weak. Anyway, hope that helped.
