even though your intake may not be damaged, more than likely it is still the problem. My intake does it, whoever put it on there paid .50c for in on ebay. I listen to the sound because its better than paying $250 for a fancy intake that will probably do the same thing. I do also get this loud...

I just put a new clutch in my car, it does the same thing but i have not had time to mess with it yet. If I understand correctly the clutch pedal will need to be adjusted, but it might take other adjustments also. Not sure on that yet.
