it does have a speed governor. its called an f22. At 110 mph, the f22 speed governor kicks in. :D also it is useless to rev over like 5500 rpm on that motor because power drops off considerably

well im not selling my gsr, but i may sell the engine for something reasonable. the head gasket is going and right now it has 200,180,200,200 compression. b16 is going in in two weeks. i was planning to build up the b17, but ill consider an offer, if you're intrested brian.

no, he converted it over to obd1. you should be saying he cant use an obd0 ecu. anyway, as far as for getting codes, i have a connector over on the passenger side to the right of the ecu where you just throw a paper clip into to jump the ecu for codes that flash on the check engine light...

aren't b17 rods longer? I think they are...somebody correct me? the only two differences are compression ratio and stroke between the two motors.

did it just start happenning? how many miles are on your tranny? your syncros are probably worn. some people have success with performance mt fluid. or just buy a tranny from the junkyard for cheap if it bothers you.
