2006 TL Custom Exhaust build ADVICE
so my boss has an 06 TL black with camel int,
and he is allowing me to mod it. it has the oem lip kit, navi and all the oem wood goodies. already did the 19" TSX catalunya, potenza pole pos tires and Teins SS C/O with the EDFC controller.  next major upgrade is the SC [comptech], and e-shift procats , in April. So i put together a 2.5" magnaflow exhaust, modled after the comptech exhaust. Exhaust - Stainless Cat-back System (04-07 TL) $1,095.00 + shp my Q is this could i "make" the maifold in the following pic. #6 top left  that is the part that joins each side of the manifolds i would like to "make" that out of 1.75" or 2" tubing [ like a header] to the 2.5" exhaust. and remove the 3rd cat #1 [ it has no O2] replacing it with a flexible and these magnaflows in order: round 1x MPE-10416 reg center/center 1x MPE-11216 Y pipe i wonder if the flow is non directional? because it says this. Description: Y-Pipe Y-Pipe 2.5 Dual Inlet I.D. 2.5 Single Outlet I.D. , 10 Length  1x MPE-10768 reg offset/center 2x MPE-11236 then i bought 2x 90deg and 4x 180deg bends [just in case] all for $420 shipped [already paid for] from Griffin's Mustang Source [i called in my order] i also expect a $150-$250 weld bill so $570-$670 it would look just like stock exept were the cat is [#1], weld the flexible. and try to keep the stock tips, and HTpaint the natural mufflers black any comments?... BTW i wont be doing the welding i have a friend thats been welding for over 26years. and owns a muffler shop. pics of the car when i get my new. fuji F650 digi cam not the best but its what i got $210 shipped Fujifilm FinePix F650 Reviews.
