I don't see much in the way of newer Hondas on here but I'm hoping a few of you might be familiar with these K motors. My TSX has 105k miles on it now. It makes this noise at idle and up through about 2.5/3k ...

It seems to go away around there but maybe I just can't here it with all the windows down and over the normal whine this engine makes in lower gears. I have a feeling it is the chain but I have been looking around and it seems there are a lot of reasons this car will make god awful noises ;/. | Well, I feel retarded. I just went and checked my oil out in the parking lot and it's at least 1 1/2 quarts low... I have never been low before changes so I never check it. Guess I need to start, if I didn't already do damage ;/ Hopefully some oil will be it. |
