Default error code for 2002 Acura TL radio

Changed the battery and could not operate the radio. Hit the preset buttons by accident and got the err message. Repair man told me they'd have to remove the radio because of a repair bulletin regarding codes and errors. Audio guys quoted $445 to remove, "repair" and return my radio. I do not have the code, is there any way I can get this done without the extreme cost.

replacing the head would be MUCH cheaper..
you should be able to give the dealer your vin and get the code in return.
