2001 Kia Sephia Timing Belt
anyone ever have any experience with these motors?
we had a mid to late 90's daewoo that smoked the belt, bent a few valves, but was easily fixed with new valves, belt and head gasket now we've got a kia that popped the belt, haven't ripped the motor down, but i'm hoping perhaps it'll be a similar siuation i've seen many honda horror stories with valves being ground into the head and pistons but have never seen any broken valves in real life only bent valves any info? |

That's what it was built to be? A cheap ass turb box with little power.
Wait... isn't that the point of Hondas and most Nissans too?
