they are pretty much ready to drift cars. i would spend $100 on a good "buyers inspection" and if it pans out ok, i would get it.

that's not a bad price either. I was looking at them not to long ago....remember that fastback? That thing was a junker though, seriously, that car needed/needs to be sold for scrap.

if it has a good clutch and clean shifting tranny, it should be good. remember, with rwd cars, the tranny feels a little different than a hydro tranny.

I just did the clutch master cylinder in my 325. Total pain in the ass. Big hands and small spaces are not friends...well, depending on exactly where that small space is.

240 slave cylinder is an easy fix. two 12mm bolts. just hope the lines arent frozen .while you are under there, check the front frame panels under the firewall. those are the most prone to rust.

during the stafford springs drift event... i blew a HG and clutch master cylinder and still managed a nice couple of these in my old one :

mods:
short ram intake
ala clayton es100 front tires
bald ass rear tires
kyb agx rear shocks and stock springs

otherwise stock, and did very well

holy hell..what a waste-
drove an hour to go see/pickup this car-
fucking garbage
they spray canned the flat black paint on it,and it wasnt even done right, the original red was showing through in some spots.exhuast was just a weld on tip,abd the pipe had holes and broken mounts, the motor-holy hell,
smelled like hot oil when i open the hood, shook violently when we started it,the fan(mounted on motor) was shaky and had hit the hood numerous times-intake wasnt correct for the car and hit the hood(causing it to only close if slammed)
interior from behind the front seats was gutted-clutch was so stiff pushing down, but when letting off it was mushy-3rd gear, grinds out the asshole, missing emblems(not even shaved) missing 3rd brake light on the hatch(yea big open hole) interior stained and ripped bad-shift knob for a 6 speed,
painted over taillights, didnt start because batt, cables werent the right ends-
overall just a piece of shit--woulda been a good $500 beater/drifter-but nota 1500 dd--so the search continues
