enjoy

got it yesterday. needs a few things. new sunroof seal (aftermarket), drivers corner light, drivers side mirror,a muffler (but with the stock pipe and cat it is very quiet) and the drivers side window doesnt go up. the body is in pretty decent shape, and im the 2nd owner.

has brand new snow tires on enkei wheels, new brakes/plugs/wires/cap/rotor.

$400.

Win.

Do the gunmetal one up nasty. Stupid boost, crazy HP.

Then convert the white one into a super efficient hypermiller.

Name them yin and yang.

plans are to clean it up and fix the little things, drive it through the winter.

got some new pictures -

trunk carpets all in great shape

fixing the stuck regulator

interior in good shape, needs a vacuum

the sunroof.....

needs a headlight and corner light

gotta straighten this fender out

today we pulled it in to get started on the muffler. found a rot hole in the subframe, but nothing major. going to hit it with a wire brush, some etch and rubber undercoat. the endpipe broke right before the rear control arm. going to get a coupler tomorrow to re-join the two sections together, then going to mount the flowmaster on it. should be VERY quiet... this time.

pulled all the wiring for the sunpro tach it had on the dash. going to install the EVO cluster with this MPH gauge so i can have a real tach.

underneath the rest of the car is decent. there is no rust inside the trunk, so woohoo!

battery was dead again. i think the "alarm" is draining the battery, or the chintzy wiring behind the radio. have to rip the alarm out anyways since the remotes are missing. this thing also has OEM lugs and wheel locks. i'm having trouble getting the locks off i cant even get them with an impact gun. oops!

got some stuffs done over the weekend.

cleaned up all the excess wiring in the engine bay, replaced the valve cover AND gasket. no more busted ass clips. modified the intake elbow so it isnt rubbing on the brake master cylinder.

thats not my house.

so the car is plated and on the road as of today. put the DS mirror from the grey car as well as the headlamps in it so i can get a sticker.

all that is left is a muffler. i love this car. its fun.

yeah you see its not a honda. the chassis parts are reinforced from the factory. its not a thin piece of sheet metal there. the suspension cup is solid. you cant break away any more of the metal there easily at all.

so my mirage has a tramp stamp from the previous owner. its a mermaid with big tits and stars over her nipples. the vinyl is permanently grafted to the trunk of the car. we're going to get some colored sharpies and color it in

also, i piped the flowmaster 44 onto the back of the car. you cannot hear it at all.
