stock interior minus the cavalier sterring wheel.

as you can see the box and amps take up all of the back seats

the bottom piece is what i want to mold the 6.5 mid bass components into. Wrap that and the replace the top panel with black vinyl.

in case you havent noticed you can add power windows. Luckily my truck came like that from the factory.

last shots of the truck.

the style reminds me of my Crx. the blue DX and the Si. Right now i have the blue ones but i want to dye everything black and charcoal like the Si. might even put some suede in there like the headliner and stuff.

All of that takes money and time. Money not so much since i have the hook up but i just dont have alot of time since its my daily beater.

OP: any plans or ideas you got for your truck?

I gotcha there, but I just hated the gauges, and the door panels. I was gonna do an aluminum dash if I got around to it, but I didn't. I'll prolly end up getting one sometime down the road.

I like the GMC front end better than the Chevy front end. But it still needs a cowl hood and a shaved rear bumper!

you need to have the subs firing down. Its the best sounding way. Of course you can do what you want but IMO this has always worked out the best.

My Boston 10's fired downward and so does this 13w7

I had an identical box for my 10's before this one.

ohh and just heads up when installing a cd player. your going to have to cut the hump behind the cd player. Its a piece of the a'c vent. cut it with a air saw. either reglue it flush with the rest of the plastic or just put duct tape to cover the hole. you will need to do this on order to have enough room for your wires. Its hella tight in there

this is about 3.5 cu. ft. ported maybe more. you have plenty of room back there. If i were to go any bigger i would need a wall type enclosure. depending on some hustling and flipping i'm trying to score another dub7 to see what chaos i can do.

i hate the gauges too. I wanted to mold a nicer trim peice and see if i could buy aftermarket digital ones. Something that flows better instead of having a box filled with yellowish gauges

Its just a ported boc with longer ends if you go with 2 10's or even 12's. Anything bigger than 14'' you have to do the slant style.

unless you get a similar setup your box wont be that tall.

Injen: it is a nasty sub. If i can get my other 1000/1 that i sold back i just might install another sub. Its good to know audio shop owners

350's are very common. So common that juyst like in the HOnda world many companies offer swap kists for the 350.

I want a 383 fuel injected but dont any money.

OP: good luck on the gas leak let me know how hard it was to take the bed off. I might have to take it off soon too.

it was 6 bolts on the bottom and 3 on the filler neck on mine and me and my dad lifted it off, it wasnt that bad, just have some long extensions, the right socket, mine was a 15mm for some reason my whole truck is metric, and i had a steel pipe so i didnt have to work so hard...

heres a pic of the hole that caused the gas leak:

and more pics of the truck:

hope to have it fixed this week... let me know what you think...

what kind of music do you listen too? I personally dont use them. I have in the past back in high school in my grand cherokee. My old school punch speakers pounded on 1500watts.

I'm more picky about sound quality which is why i'm a big fan of 8,s 10's

of course i love my 13w7 the best.

Use what you got and see if you like it. I dont think there is enough for 2 15's though. post pics!1!
