Default wheels for the Ranger

i went to Tire Barn (local wheel and tire place here in Fort Wayne, Indiana) and did some looking at some wheels for my Ranger. i found these wheels:

eBay Motors: FORD EXPLORER JEEP MAGNUM 300c RANGER 18" WHEELS RIMS (item 320130415602 end time Jun-29-07 14:15:47 PDT)

they are chrome 18" Boss 304 wheels and i can get wheels and tires for $1295 out the door. what do you think? ive posted these wheels on other forums but everyone says they are played out. ive never seen em on a vehicle perosnally. what do you think? yeah and i know they are heavy. i own a truck and not a car....

I've seen similar wheels around, but who gives a fuck if they're "played out", it's your truck and if you like em, roll em.

I do see them around a lot. But hell, it's not like I bought a unique set of rims. Hella people with E36s have the same rims as me. I still like the way they look on my car.

You should try to resurrect the old fad of putting really tiny wheels on you're truck.

I like the polished alloy look over chrome. My boss had some 5 spoke 17" Boyd C.'s (no idea what model) on his S10 that looked real nice when he got around to polishing them again.

I don't see very much of those rims here at all. There are a lot of big ass Fords with 20+" bling chromes and shit though.

Check out centerline's overstock page. I got my dubs from them. I paid 720 shipped to my door. With tires from a local tire shop I paid 1370. They are polished aluminum and they weigh 21 pounds each. The 20 inch wheel and tire are lighter than my 17" stock steel rim and snow tires.
I think 20's would look good on there. Go big or go home. I sometimes wish I went with 22's because my 20's look small with a 32" tall tire. But on the other hand they don't make my truck look thugged out.

thanks for the comments y'all. as far as small wheels on my truck...HELL NO!! lol my truck isnt a lowrider...its a bagged minitruck. ive got the stock 15s on it now and thats small enough. reason i am choosing 18s is because they are the best looking sized wheel for the Rangers. 20s are feasible to do but i would have to completely redo the whole front suspension on my truck and im not prepared to do that right now. so 18s is what im getting.
