bump. not in a hurry to sell but maybe some people need something I have. seriously any offers would be sick. As long as I make a little money over shipping I would be happy I need the room in my garage to start tearing into my Trans Am.

well I don't know why but ups.com is being a biotch when I tried to get a shipping quote. but how bout this...I will sell you the motor $50 plus shipping. You can find the cheapest shipping and let me know the company and I will use them to ship it to you. how does that sound? i guessed the weight at like 250 lbs. 32 inches long, 24 inches tall, and 27 inches wide.

how about the head(dont need intake or exhaust mani,vc, that front rad tube by the exhaust ports, none of the timing cover stuff). complete block. Dont need drivebelt accessories, you can throw in the mounts in case I break one or something. Alright can you get me a weight with that junk? And hey, did you take the head apart at all besides the valve cover?

I loosened two headbolts. I was planning on taking it off. But other than that no. you only want the head and block? forget the manifolds, distributor, alternator, and everything? I'll just send you all the mounts I have I think I have a couple motor mounts as well as some tranny mounts. How about $50 still? Also do you need the oil pan? I will make sure to clean up the block real nice for you. And in case you were wondering doesn't leak a drop of fluid.

ummm include the dizzy please and yes please do send the oil pan with it if thats not a problem. Let me know what I am looking at for a price. probably somewhere around 75 for shipping I am assuming, but let me know. you can dismantle the head from the block to keep it from having to be freighted if need be(cheaper).

Well if you want it it comes with a brand new timing belt not even opened. the valve cover gasket is toast and I don't know about the other gaskets. Like I said I never even took off the head. do you want the plug wires as well? and so you want, the head, the block, the oil pan, and the distributor? sweet less work. I will have the block stripped and weighed later tonight.

oh hey, does the block come with the flywheel? And is it an OE flywheel?

OEM flywheel and I will leave it on the block. Pretty much all I am taking off is the manifolds, draining the fluids, taking off the alternator, power steering, and a/c compressor. You said you didn't need the drivebelt accessories meaning the pulleys and such correct? and do you want me just to leave the timing cover on with the old timing belt?

yup thats right. If you want to leave the crank pulley and belt tensioner on thats cool. and yeah you can just leave the cover and the old belt on, not going to hurt anything.

alright its pretty much stripped I think I have a radiator hose to pull off. But I just realized last night I don't really have a way to weigh it. the bathroom scale I have was apparently broken and no body told me. So I can guesstimate the weight but I can't be sure. If I had to guess right now it is probably still pretty close to 150 lbs at least. i pulled off the alternator bracket, alternator, valve cover, motor mounts (will be seperately packaged), intake manifold, exhaust manifold, and wiring harness so it probably dropped around 45 lbs maybe a bit more...

sorry this reply took so long, we had a huge storm and everything was out of power...anyways...I had a B series block that weighed in at 135, so yeah that guesstimate should be pretty close.

lol I know I know, just giving some kind of idea. If it is going to be cheaper to ship the head that way then yes for sure. Its coming off anyways to put a new head gasket on and get PnP'd.

no none of them are broken off. the only broken bolt on the whole motor was on the fuel rail.
