My brother gave me a modem to use at the apartment to save 3 bucks on renting one from Comcast, but now that I'm here and on FiOS I don't need it, so I figure why not sell it to someone who may want it. Especially if they've been having modem problems through comcast.
It's a black Motorola SURFboard modem Model: SB5100 and for me it worked flawlessly. This is for a CABLE connection only. You will have to call your provider to have them come get the modem you are paying for, and install this MAC address into your customer profile. ![]() ![]() ![]() The modem comes with it's power adapter, of course, but I will not provide any Cat5e patch cables, USB, or COAX cables. CUSTOMER S/N, S/N, HFC MAC ID, & USB CPE MAC ID are all listed as well as bar coded on the bottom of the modem. I don't have them written down anywhere, so once this is gone you are the sole owner of all these codes. Price: $24 shipped. Through comcast, the modem will pay for itself after 8 months of usage.
