Default wtb:88-89 acura integra zc swap ecu and harness.

I want to buy an 88-89 acura integra pcm and wiring harness, to do a zc dohc swap in an 88 crx dx model. Basically i need everything to do the swap shy of the motor cause i have a motor.

88-89 Acura Integra motor will not fit in a 88 CRX. You would have to make custom mounts to get it in there.

That motor is a D16a1 NOT a ZC motor.

My buddy has a jdm spec zc in his 89 honda civic. I thought all of the motors that came out of 88-89 Acura Integras were the ZC engines. I did more research and found that his motor came from overseas. And the ones in the American cars are called D16a1 and have a black valve cover. Same looking motor just less horse power. Also why wouldnt a d16a1 fit in my 88 crx. My buddys car had a d15b2 in his car originally and it had dpfi. Exactly like mine does now. And when he did his swap no motor mounts were changed other than the tranny mount. He used his stock 5 speed tranny the motor mounted right up. He just needed a wiring harness and a pcm from the integra.

All the mounts are different on the US 88-89 Integra motors and they will not fit in the 88-91 Civic CRX. Look at the motor and see what is stamped on the motr, if its says ZC then it shoulf fit. If it is stamped D16a1 then it won't fit.

all true but the 88-89 integra harness and ecu will work for the zc, they are the same. LMK via pm,there is a 88 integra auto with harness/ecu - you would have to run wires for the reverse lights.
