I had a y8 with stock internals, boosted on a t25 at 8psi, home made kit. I was trying to merge off of a highway, where you have to cross three lanes to hit the exit. Well I dropped the car into fourth, the rpms slowly came up as I eased into it, and BANG, distaster struck. From what I can tell, oil pressure went up, popped the weak point in my oil pan (drain flange..) and I lost all my oil. Threw a rod creating 4 holes in my motor (two oil pan, two block).

So thats my story. Plan for the future is to drop this regular ol z6 into the car, drive it N/A for about a year, and build the shit out of the extra head I have, as well as a block. Rebost with a 14b at about 10-12psi, and go from there
