Dodge SRT-4 Recall

Looks like the first year of the Dodge Neon SRT-4 will be recalled due to an engineering flaw in the vehicles oil system.

I'd say we've taken well over 100 [srt-4's] that have no chance of ever running again, it seems like all of them stopped working around eight or 9000 miles.

I seriously would believe though if that was a true recall because neon's blow. My friend thought it would be cool to race his mom's and yeah 3rd time attempting to fast in it, he blew up the tranny, don't ask how but yeah shit fell out, and we pushed it home and now its on its 3rd transmission.

Neon's have traditionally had problems with their transmissions. Chrysler in general does. "Colorado's Fastest Neon" which blew up its tranny, my mom's old Chrysler which went through 2 transmissions, the list goes on forever. All this, aside from the fact that, as Slammed98Integra said, Neon's just blow.

I got a friend with a black one. It's a pretty damn sweet car. Made 240 whp and 240 wtq with only a small spring on the wastegate to add 2 PSI to th peak boost.

It's a godaweful fast stockcar, and the exhaust note is interesting to say the least.

i wish i could ass 2 psi
