Prelude Injectors

A friend told me that I can change my stock injectors (240cc) for 97 prelude injectors (280 cc), and with my setup, jdm second gen b16, t3/t4 b turbo, fmu, missing link, I can boost up to 10 psi. He did this on one of his cars. What do you guys think? I don't want to run mad power, but enough to be a little fast!! Thanks

no. you won't be able to idle them on an fmu.

if you go anything above 240cc, you need to run a vafc hack or a standalone, otherwise it will flood to holy hell at idle.

that, and there are many kinds of prelude injectors

1992-96 Prelude non-vtec Peak and hold 240cc
1992-96 Prelude VTEC Peak and hold 345cc
1997-up Prelude VTEC Saturated 280cc

pissedoff sol is right...at idle you will flood like hell...I had the 345cc prelude injectors on my d16z6 engine with and without the 12:1 a/r vortech fmu and the greddy emanage unpluged and boy it was soo flooded that when i tried to take off the car would stall...so i turned the emanage ems and leaned it out at idle and took the fmu out and it worked fine...but even if you take the fmu out and don't use any kind of ems it will flood...so get some kind of ems or you'll waste all your fuel on idle and kill yourself inside the car because you can smell the fumes from the cockpit...lol...goodluck
