little confused about the codes for the Connecting Rod Bearings.

The motor is a JDM B18C Type R and I want to use OEM bearings but the Helms is giving me two bearings for what ever combo.

Example. Rod Stamped #24 Crank stamped "W'

So the chart says: #24 + W = Green, Brown.

So I should order those bearings but which go where (no colors on my used stock bearings). In the Helms the green is listed above the brown. So does that mean the Green Bearing go on the top of the Rod (towards the piston)?

below link is to the chart

It's been a while but I'm pretty sure that's what it means- you can see the bearings progressing in clearance from one end of the scale to the other.

I understand that the scale show from Thin to Thicker Bearings. Pink being the Thinest and Blue the Thickest.

But which ones do I order? These scales are easy to understand for B16's and B18c1's becuase is only gives you one color but for B18c5 shows two colors

Ohhh that's your question. Buy both- use one on top and one on bottom. Use plastigage to be absolutely sure your clearances are good.
