Doc said the femoral head literally crumbled in his hand when he removed it... I'm lucky it didn't crumble in me, that would have been PAINFUL

I'm not exactly sure... lack of blood flow to my hip killed the bone... supposedly I got steroids while doing chemo and that's what caused it

Same thing happened to Bo Jackson. He dislocated his hip and that ruptured the vein/whatever that goes to the hip. They didn't catch it until he need a replacement.

The woman is making some Mexican vegetable soup... should be pretty tasty... been trying to stay out of bed and moving around with the walker as much as possible... when in bed doing the in-bed leg exercises they had me doing there... got an Eagles game to go to Nov 3rd in Oakland... so hopefully I'm good by then or my ticket is going to someone else

Well, everything is going good... trying to get away from the walker, so I've been using a cane here and there and think I'll be done with the walker within a week
