One more point about having a cheap commuter...

The (possible) repair bill usually drops quite a bit. Not to mention you can usually do the work yourself. There are very few things on my car that would cost in the hundreds of dollars to fix, and I love that lol. If your warranty was up on your car now, how much would it have cost for them fix your door locks?

about 400 irrc. 200 for parts 200 for labor.

and I still wouldn't have done it myself.... so a beater out of warranty would still cost me money to fix.

400 isnt as bad as I thought. I kinda missed my own point tho, in that a beater wouldnt have such technical systems lol.

Door lock doesnt work? It can only be 1 bar or 2 clips. Lol

Yea, but Brian can afford to drive something nice. There's a lot to say about being comfy. He may or may not take out office coworkers now and then. You just can't really drive them around in a beater and maintain self respect lol

sucks that Genny is having problems. hope ya get it worked out homie. $1200 for 1 god damn stock rim? kiss my ass! you can practically get a whole aftermarket set for that price! have you tried replacing the studs on that hub? you MAY have a stripped wheel stud which would cause the wheel not sit right.

still rediculous.

your buddy already sold his set.

had an sti... and a 2.5 rs...
honestly, the #1 thing that keeps me out of even trying subaru is that the seats don't go back far enough. I'm only 6'1 but i was always looking for one more notch in both cars.

genny goes to the dealer 5/10 for her 45k service. gonna have them inspect the wheel again too while there.

Fwiw Brian they make extended rails for those sedans. A lot of the taller guys in corollas with moonroofs needed them.

im 6'0 and i have no problems. i can move the seat back another 3-4" or more. to the point where its too difficult to reach the pedals.

the new subys are a bit bigger. would probably suit you.

the 2015 WRX looks like a great car. 28mpg, 2.0L Direct Injected turbo motor. can get it with the 6-speed now too.

Also runs a 13.5 1/4 from the factory. :)

yeah, that WAS the wrx.

I got the sti to $49.
