750 CFM is probably larger than optimum for a streetable 305 CID. 750 CFM is good for 600 HP on a 427 CID V-8. That's what you would find on a big block setup.

That motor would have to be built to breathe way more than would be streetable (5:38 gears) for that combination to be right. 600 CFM would probably run better with less bog.
 
It was the carb that was on the truck allteady, wasnt my choice, I know he had it re-jetted, its a stout truck , in sure it still has room for improvement
 
I chopped off the midas muffler and put the twin cannon muffler back on, but actually mounted straight , not at stupid flat brim angle, selling some jdm as fuck kid the boso muffler tomorrow for 65 bucks, cost me $15 for it

it sounds good, not as deep as it was with the 3' pipe, but isnt obnoxious and I dont have to fight the radio over the exhaust still, I like it , runs the same
 
Power to Weight is pretty crucial with that little motor. I bet the difference felt with a passenger is night and day.

Painting it? DilbertSkate don't paint. He'll trade it before summers end.
