I love the mileage of my CRX, but I can't keep it as it is anymore. Five years back, the radiator blew, taking the head gasket with it. I fixed it or so I thought, but the problem is back and the engine sputters and stalls with the radiator fluid entering it.
So, I hoped to get a JDM engine match for it, but I can't find any. I can get a ZC SOHC, 16 valve SI engine much easily, and I am considering doing the swap.
So, are there any gotchas? Any guides (the vendor's posted that I need to transfer the crank sensor with the oil pump)? I know the transmission/clutch/tires won't work quite well, so I am OK with the loss of power (and loss of mileage) since I don't plan on racing it.
