No, technically he didn't lie about anything. HOWEVER, he claimed Jackson Racing Stroked/Cammed 1200. Yes it is all that - what he left out was it was all that 20 years ago, it's latest incarnation was basically as a Barn Find. Parked under a tree for several years, abandoned, motor stripped of parts and worn out - shit missing, falling off, worn out, trashed out....

I hope he gets it done and it looks/runs good. Meanwhile, it's fun to heckle him a bit. My posts on this thread probably qualify me as his #1 heckler - it's all in fun. I also respond in a technical manner from time to time and probably have made as much if not more technical contributions as anyone on the thread.

NOBODY AROUND HERE TAKES THIS SHIT, THIS THREAD, THIS CAR, DILLBECK OR "THE INTERNET" VERY SERIOUSLY.

THIS IS JUST FOR FUN. :)

Right, I agree. That's why I said that he didn't "technically" lie about it, but he was pretty vague on info about the work that's been done to the car, and I'm guessing that was intentional.

Still...he's done a lot worse since we've known him, lol.

Whenever I catch him with his panties down around the ankles he'll get a slap on the bare ass.... :) Or a Major League Virtual Atomic Wedgie - just too good to pass up.

What is the current size? 4x114.3?

And the axles were a pretty big concern for the swap right? I'd do it.
 
its 4x120 now, and meh I would have to have a driveshaft shop make them , ive got 4x120-4x114.3 adapters if thats what your thinking about , have to have integra axles with the civic outers, same length if engine is installed correctly , just spline tooth count is different, with the 4x100 hub conversion I can use just straight up integra axles, really thinking about driving exploder through the winter, selling it in spring for a beat first gen teg and some money in my pocket , drive it until I get another car and use 1g teg as donor for full pgmfi swap for the 79

That's 41 pages of World Class Flaming! That's the joke - his "Build Thread" has been as much a Flame Marathon as anything else.

For the most part it's been in jest and pretty funny! Dilbeck's been a good sport about it as well.
