96 accord ecu info/help

Im going to be swapping out a 96 accord 2dr lx auto, ecu 37820-POJ-L60. with another same number, my question is will I have to get this thing reprogrammed ? im not sure if this car has an immobilizer in it or not. from what ive read some say yes some say no.

Pretty sure the immobilizers didn't start until 2008... but don't quote me

I think im just going to look at there key that should tell me, and i know on acura/honda they started somewhere in the late 90s early 2000 just wanted to make for sure.
