That's a fact - Edison was a blabbering idiot compared to the genius of Nikola Tesla.
In the end, Edison was more a mechanical engineer and inventor while Tesla was electrical engineering and physics.
Whereas Edison gave us the incandescent light - Tesla invented neon lights. Edison invented motion pictures, Tesla invented wireless communication.
Edison was stuck on DC power distribution systems, Tesla came up with 3 phase AC, an efficient distribution system & the concept of a rotating magnetic field which is the basis of the induction motor.
Probably not right to compare the two, as they both made significant impact to the life we enjoy today.

"The Men Who Built America" is not a historical document. I wouldn't take it as 100% accurate.
With that said, I'm sure there was some shenanigans on both sides. I promise you that in some capacity, Tesla used Edison's shop and other resources for his own projects. Similar to using a work laptop for playing on Hondaswap.
