what's an IIRC honda motor?
Don't know. :p

I haven't been able to find an A6 or a ZC cam. My head should already have the A6 springs and retainers so correct me if I'm wrong but it should be safe to set the rev limiter to 7200 like the A6 since it will be on a built VTEC block. When I can find a different cam I'll order it.

If I recall correctly '

yes the oem springs and retainers are the same, you can use the a6/zc came with 0 issue (other than having to adjust the valves) , and yes it will easily rev to 7200 lol both the stock a6 and the zc rev that high without effort

I know the early pre 93 D15B7's had weaker springs and retainers then Honda started using A6 springs and retainers. It's been like Christmas the past two days with parts coming through UPS, FedEx and the post office. I'm still waiting on the rods and pistons that should be here Monday. Then I'll measure clearances and order bearings and gasket sets for everything.

Cp pistons and forged H beam rods ready to go in.

Finally got the car home after a long week of driving and visiting with family. I've got both the 73 and the 95 donor in the back. If anyone is going to want a bare 95 DX shell let me know. It's going to be completely bare i.e. no wiring or suspension probably no seats either but the entire body is in great shape, no rust or dents it just needs a good sanding and paint job.

Work on this car has been slow but should pick up after the new year when the holidays have passed, I've just been really busy. On a side note these came in today!

Did some work on the engine. Got the Eagle H beam rods and CP pistons in with the new crank, ARP studs, got the head on, I've got a sandwich plate on the oil filter for a feed and the oil pan is tapped for a return. It's going to be fitted in the car to make sure there is room for the turbo setup but it's going to be NA for the break in, according to the compression calculator I should be sitting at around 9.1:1 so NA should be fine. I don't think I wanna go crazy with boost, maybe like 10psi or so.

I'm gonna use the turbo I posted on the first page. I'll need to get injectors, FPR, fuel pump, charge piping, intercooler, down pipe and a couple other things. I've also got a 60mm TB from a B18B1 that I'm gonna stick on and port match the stock intake on the D15B7 head.

Finished matching the intake manifold opening to the 60mm B series throttle body and got the intake put on the engine.

I'm working on the gauge set now. The tach, speedometer, temp and fuel gauges from a 95 Integra are the same exact size around, they just need to be trimmed of the excess plastic tabs. The stock gauge pods got cut at the seam about half way and the Integra gauges glued in place from the rear.

jesus, that white paint job on the dx is the WORST paint job i've ever seen lol
Lol, yea the guy I got it from didn't sand it down or anything and piss can primered it. I never bothered to fix it. I got the car for $700 and it was a beater to get me around.
