Did a little river fishing this weekend on the Carbon River. Water was real low, so not a ton of fishing coming up the river, but a lot trapped in it. Saw a bunch of dark king's caught and the guys I were with on sunday caught some silver's. I didn't have much for bumps the first day, but when I switched for egg's, I got picked clean a couple times.

The places is pretty scenic. Here is a quick google of Carbon River. Right at the base of Mt. Rainier.

Sweet, its a whole different world up there compared to south FL! Id love to get up north/out west and do some different fishing.

Went out bass fishing this morning on the kayak, rained heavy overnight, was a perfect calm, relatively cool, and overcast morning. Water in the lake is mid 80s. I thought it was going to be on, but it was sorta meh. I had to work for the fish, they wanted the plastic worms mostly. Ended up catching 13, but nothing really picture worthy, couple chunky 2.5-3 lbers was the biggest i saw. Great morning to be on the water!

we have bp out here in ohio too, but theyre all slowly getting switched to circle k and some other name.

There are lots of BPs, they are generally the nicest cleanest ones.

Caught a couple dolphin and bonita, nothing huge though. Was a good day of fishing, and a hell of a fun weekend overall.

I can never catch fish worth a crap. even when I pay someone for a charter boat.
