My father accidentally crossed the wires while trying to jumpstart my car

lately my car hasnt been turning on . nd found out it was possibly my main relay. So I went on and replaced that. Then a few days later I asked my dad to jump start the car and he agreed but accidentally crossed the wires. So now theres no power what so ever. I bought a new battery because well, i needed a new one anyway but nothing happend when i installed it. So would i have to check my alternator and fuses?

Fuses, one of the big ones probably broke. Someone on this board who I will not name crossed the wires when putting my battery back in and one of the big fuses blew.

It wasn't me

Im not the one being referenced, but I did once. No broken fuse. Fried the jumper cables though.
