We got married 11/13/14. Been engaged a year. Together 5 and living together 4.5 years.

Was a nice small wedding. Didn't spend more than $1500 for EVERYTHING. 35ish people.

Got $250 in Bed Bath and Beyond gift cards. Any suggestions?

Also got $1300 in cash. Not sure what we're going to do with that either. Any suggestions?

1000 thread count sheets

put the cash back in against the 1500 you spent. it cost you $200 to get married.

Jackie brought home a marshmallow pumpkin vanilla candle from bed bath beyond and its amazing! lol my only suggestion. We blew most of the cash we got in Hawaii so I def wouldn't do that

Congrats, that is freaking cheap. We were 44 people at about 10gs.

Did you do a restaurant and a jop?

We did ours at the Snohomish events center. $650.

Officiant was $200.

We did beef and chicken Mexican tacos in a crock pot. All homemade stuff. $100.

Food warmers, table clothes, other rentals, $300.

Thanks Brian

That's the way to do it. I can't see spending crazy money on a wedding. my old lady is divorced, so she already had the glitz and glam... if we get married, it's going to be in the backyard with shit on the grill. lol

Damn. That's NUTS. She didn't even buy a real wedding dress it was something from Nordstrom that was $150.

We were 2 people. Cost me like $45 for the license and the guy to marry us.

Congrats. Where's the pics?
