Hi I'm trying to figure out if this swap is even possible. I have 95 accord with a bad transmission and motor is getting weak. A good friend has a d15z1 sitting from an old car not being use. I can get motor and transmission for CHEAP. So I want to know if it is possible to get a d15z1 (i understand this is a civic motor and is very weak) to fit in an accord with an f22b2? Let me know if this is possible or if anyone out there is looking to trade my running b15z1 and transmission for your running f22b2 and transmission

I've never done it But I know it'd be a lot of work. Motor mount fab, both engine harnesses mated to each other, figuring out how to mate shifter select to transmission, finding out which axles fit (if any), fuel delivery, etc.

It would take more work than it's worth (even if you got the swap for free). I would find a JDM replacement longblock and use all your other parts.

Yea even free you'll spend more on misc stuff to get it running than if you bought another f22. The f22 is dirt cheap. You can probably fond a complete set ip for a hundred or two on cl or a local junk yard
