quite the deal for $2000. it pays off to keep an eye out for good deals. just wish i had the garage space for all of it.

It has found its home under an awning till we get the core support. I figure I ought to be allowed to take a space because I drilled the holes and drove the 3ft metal spikes in to the ground to secure them (6 buildings) when I was 15 Lol.

Previous owner took it apart to put a fresh B18B block in it and turbo it. I'm basically picking up where he left off.

GOOD NEWS
The guy I bought the Teggy contacted me Saturday morning (roughly a month after I bought it) and met me halfway (30min drive) to give me the keys.
With the windows rolled up I gave it a quick wash. I was the detailer for about 2 months while my dad looked for a new one and I was really happy with how this came out. I'm not going to worry with buffing or going too HAM on the wheels until it's ready to go on the road but after I cleaned away the 2inches of grime she looks BEAUTIFUL. Probably going to only need to respray the front bumper and the spoiler/bumper where my dad damaged it (free paintwork lol)

And a bonus picture of some frame repair on a Nissan Titan. I went down to the shop on Saturday for a couple hours and learned some interesting stuff.

BIG NEWS!!!
Dropped the motor off at Brock's Engine Service in Clearwater (the guy my dad uses). He's an older guy but he knows his stuff and the younger guy working for him has built a lot of b and k series motors and is in touch with the local Honda scene (actually quite extensive in Tampa) providing him with the stuff I have already and the fresh block and head he told me 1k-1.2k to get it built to where I want to be. I decided 350hp would be ideal. My dad knows the owner pretty well and I'm pretty excited as I was hoping to spend less than 1.5k on the motor and it looks like we're trending in that direction. I still gotta bring him parts (oil pan, water pump etc) but hopefully i'll see my built short block in a couple weeks.

Big news. After work I dropped the suspension and driveline out of the Teggy. Found out it does not have LSD so I'm gonna need correct that before I boost it. From what I've ready the LS tranny is considered good for boosting as long as I convert it to LSD... which is something I literally didn't even know was possible and therefore will take a lot of research on my part. Any experience you guys have is welcome. I'm going to pull the pieces off the old motor that the motor shop is going to need to build it, as well as drop off the stud kit and block guard and stuff. I'm going to get a bushing kit as well since those were pretty much shot when I took the suspension out.

Something is not right with your picture links.

Dad tapped the pan for me and I dropped the pieces off at Brooks. He has the block bored out and ready to go and also wants to balance everything. He's putting new springs in the head too. I basically told him to pull no punches because I want this thing to break necks and hurt feelings for a long time. Or at least till I wreck it. Hehe.

Also got a set of Prelude SH seats for the Teggy. I had to run to one of the local Junkyards to get a chunk of frame for a Jeep we're working on and I asked about Integras, guy said closest thing he had was a 97 Prelude SH. Thing was trashed front and rear sadly (I love those things, my best friend wants to build a Prelude to roll with the Teggy). The body was trashed but the interior was really nice so I snagged the two front seats. The tracks are swappable, and therefore it will fit (or so I've read).

Would really enjoy pictures of your steps when the actual install comes around. I am doing this same thing with either another b18c1 or a b20, haven't decided yet. Very clean teg.

Are the current seats trashed or something? The Prelude seats don't seem like much of an upgrade. Just wondering.

Nice build. Keep it up.

@BrutalB83 The seats that were in it were trashed. Eventually I'll put some really nice ones in there. Also I'm fat (hey at least I'm honest) and the Prelude seats have a wider base and better low back support. I sat in the Prelude before I had them pulled and to my butt they felt nice.

If you can score some S2000 seats, they're a pretty good upgrade. RSX seats are pretty awesome too.

@get_nick We had an s2k and I actually really didnt like those seats, idk about the RSX though.

06-11 Civic Si seats are nice (good combo of comfort, style and function). But really heavy.

JDM DC2 ITR Recaros are famous and pretty comfortable but it's hard to find a pair in great shape. They're getting old. Black, red and I've seen some blue....maybe yellow? These fit with no modifications.

Sparco Evo US lll will take up to a 38" waist but they're about $800 a piece (FIA approved)

If you weren't a fan of the S2000 seats, you probably wouldn't like the RSX seats either. The side bolsters stick up a lot, so if you're a bigger person, you may not find them comfortable.

Well, that's the Type-S ones anyway. I don't know what the base ones are like.
