engines that fits 97 honda accord lx

So I have a 97 Honda accord lx 2.2 16 valve engine F22B2 that is on its way out .ssoo question is can I put any 2.2l engine in regardless of if comes from a Subaru or where ever or can I only do one from a Honda and if I can't find a 2.2 what engine can i use like could i use a honda accord engine or a honda brand engine ???

you can, it's just going to take a lot of work and a LOT of money. Your best bet is another F22 or even an H22. Accords don't have a lot of easy options.

Your best bet will be to take your car to a reputable mechanic and let them rebuild your engine or install a used replacement. You have nowhere near the level of knowledge required to be thinking about a cross-brand engine swap.
